Monthly Technical Speaker: Ramesh Konda

Topic: Knowledge Management in Product Lifecycle Management.

Systematic Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is essential to design and build robust products. PLM tracks life of a product from Idea phase to End of Life (EOL). The cradle to grave solution requires a well-integrated functionality such as Product Design and Manufacturing Management, Document Management, Change Management, Issue Tracking and Project Management. PLM also facilitates phase or stage gate reviews. During the process of PLM, typically all key functions of the company are involved and a lot of knowledge is generated and shared. It is important to capture this properly so that it can be disseminated and reused easily for further improvising. The speaker will dive into some insights on how this can be managed.
